Privacy statement

Last updated: September 2026

This statement explains how Penny BV i.o. handles personal data collected through the Penny Cloud website, both through the contact form and through website analytics.

Who we are

Penny BV i.o., the Netherlands.
Contact: [email protected]

What we collect and why

When you use the contact form we collect the name, email address, optional company name and the message you send. We use these solely to respond to your request and, if it leads somewhere, to follow up about Penny Cloud. Our web server also keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and timestamp) for security and troubleshooting.

Legal basis

We process this data on the basis of your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Analytics are consent-based: on your first visit we ask you to accept or decline. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and only cookieless, non-identifying signals are used (Google Consent Mode); if you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure your visit. We use essential storage only to remember your choice. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. To deliver the contact form and reply to you, your message may be processed by our email and hosting providers acting as processors on our behalf. If you accept analytics, usage data is processed by Google as our analytics provider, and may be transferred outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We only share data where necessary to provide the service or where legally required.

Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
